2012 Championships: baits and groundbaits quantities
• CLUBS: 20 liters groundbaits and 2.5 liters baits, of which a maximum amount of 0.5 liter shall be jokers – bloodworms only for the hook. Assigned to Portugal - Cabeçao, on June the 2nd and 3rd 2012. It is the same venue used in the past for the European, Clubs and Youth championships.
• EUROPE: 20 liters groundbaits and 2.5 liters baits, of which a maximum amount of 1 liter of aquatic larvae, including 0.5 liter maximum of bloodworms. Assigned to Spain, Merida on June the 23rd and 24th 2012. It is the same venue as for the World Championship in 2010. In April 2012 a visit of the venue in Merida will be carried out with the Spanish Federation as well as the local Federation.
• YOUTH:
For the U14 and U18 categories: 17 liters groundbaits and 1.5 liters baits, of which a maximum amount of 0.5 liter of aquatic larvae, including maximum 0,25 liter of bloodworms.
For the U 23 category: 20 liters groundbaits and 2 liters baits, of which a maximum amount at 1 liter of aquatic larvae, including maximum 0.5 liter of bloodworms.
Assigned to Slovenia, Radece and Sevnica, on July the 28th and 29th 2012. It is the same venue as well as the same organizers as the European Championship in 2009. The U 23 and U 18 venues will be in Radece and U 14 venue will be in Sevnica (distance 5 km).
• LADIES: 20 liters groundbaits and 2.5 liters baits, of which a maximum amount of 1 liter of aquatic larvae, including 0.5 liter of bloodworms. Assigned to Netherland, to be held on August the 25th and 26th 2012. Mr. Roland Marcq will visit the venue on February the 24th 2012.
• NATIONS: 20 liters groundbaits and 2.5 liters baits, of which a maximum amount of 1 liter of aquatic larvae, including 0.5 liter of bloodworms. Assigned to Czech Republic – Uherske Hradiste, on September the 15th and 16th 2012. Same venue as the European Championship in 2008, same organizers, no problem for 40 participating nations (2 new sectors).
• FEEDER: 12 liters groundbaits and 2.5 liters baits, of which a maximum amount of 0.5 liter of aquatic larvae. Assigned to Belgium – Ghent, on july the 7th and 8th. The venue is a “rowing course”, the same venue as the Youth World Championship in 2008. There is place for 21 countries (15 m).
